My name is Cyndie Ford Purdy.  I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alaska. I am a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors, a Certified Master Addictions Counselor and a Certified Substance Abuse Professional through NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. 

My areas of special interest include personal growth and development, relationship issues, adjustment disorders, depression, stress and anxiety, and chemical abuse and dependency.

I have recently re-opened my counseling practice, which is now located at 480 Pleasant Grove Road in Inverness, Florida, and I am currently accepting new clients. My office hours are by appointment. 

I am a member of, and in good standing with the American Counseling Association, the American Mental Health Counselors Association, the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, the National Board for Certified Counselors, and NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals.
